Those Stanley cup lines would be awesome. That’s some serious depth.

Would love to see Marleau with Malkin right off the bat. To me Hörnqvist is damn fine @ the 3rd line. Hope McCann can come back a lot better than how he’s been playing lately.

What can I say about #8 and #6 coming back soon? Thank God

Their injuries weren't real condusive to letting it happen but I wish we could have seen Kahun with Sid for an extended period.

I feel like he needs to move back to center - he just seems so much more confident there.

Just going off of RW’s Finals line up, and because we were talking about it at work today, but is it realistic to thing Guentzel can return this season?

I think any consistent position would help him. Seems like he shows up to the rink every day not knowing where or who he plays with

I wonder if he's been dealing with an injury this whole time, hence the reason for his poor play.

.... finals lines chat ?

Jinxy 😔...they're not even in yet... 3 new pieces plopped right on into the lineup and we have no idea how it'll look, I think they'll by fine but if it doesn't work out right away I hope people chill haha...won't hold my breath

Earlier when I saw the actual lines for tomorrow night it made me chuckle...not feeling them . Sully's Line blender will be out swiftly I imagine.

I thought a 3rd line of Marleau-McCann-Simon would look pretty good on paper.

So, I haven't seen Marleau play the last year or two on a consistent basis. I see that he still has the speed. But, have his hands gone that much or is he partially just a product of the teams he's played on?

Very realistic. I'd say better than 50% chance. I'd expect him possibly to be ready for round 3

Yea it's definitely a possibility for round 3. I also remember hearing from one of the beat writers on the radio to not be surprised if he's back early. I don't want him coming back to early though.

With the emergency recall of Lafferty it appears McCann isn't fully healthy. It would be interesting to see Bjugstad take the place of Teddy considering he has been very good and Bjugs hasn't seen any ice time since October. I don't mind seeing Rust on the LW for now. He hasn't had the best of luck recently, but playing with two hot hands should allow him to find some open ice and get plenty of shots.

They aren't playing any good teams on this trip so I would expect some line movement just to see what could be.

He's on LTIR and we don't have the space for him to return this regular season so early would still be 4 months (playoffs)

Definitely nothing wrong with that. I'm honestly only getting annoyed with Rust at LW, get him back on RW and IDC what the lines are haha. We have a good group.

Right, I should have said that. By early they meant earlier in the playoffs haha.

This Toronto Tampa game is great. I don't get what toronto's problem is. The look amazing some nights and straight garbage the next.

Right?! Even when we played them, one game looked like they were a bottom feeder the next night they look like a playoff team

Exactly!

I can't tell you how many odd man breaks they have had this game. It's wild, but they are absolutely handling everything Tampa is throwing their way. I have them on tv with ESPN+ and the Bruins/Flames on the laptop.

I don't understand the insistence of playing Rust on the left side. He is in a prolonged slump at the moment and it started when he was moved to left wing. The exact same thing happened last year. I think a pattern is developing.

Blows my mind. Honestly since he's in a slump anyways, not only would I put him back to RW id go...

I just hope he doesn't get injured. Rust really struggles handling the puck along the boards.

May 1st is very realistic, IMHO.
